As You Wish

For this painting, I channeled my inner kindergartener. I always loved how kids (me included) would draw people with their arms and legs coming straight out of their head! I thought that was pretty adorable and wanted to channel that young me in a modern, graffiti-inspired way.

After starting with the princess on the right, I knew what had to go on the left to fill up that extra space… an ode to my favorite movie The Princess Bride and the lovely Princess Buttercup. I always loved the line her heroic Wesley would say to her… “As you wish,” which of course became the title of this piece.
