I think I’ve found my happy place! I worked on this painting little by little for probably 10 months, and every session was filled with the same joy and excitement I’d get from eating every sugary treat I was painting. I just love rolling around in the whimsicality of obnoxiously bright colors, the visual sugar rush of candied confections, the freedom of childlike playfulness, and the optical overload that can occur with the ingestion of too much sugar. This was pure, unadulterated fun! Comes with a free dental visit.
