Speckled with vintage collage and seemingly random elements, this mixed-media painting is a mirror of the chaos that is always going on in my mind. This piece started out as a black & white collage, then I added the bold yellow, colorful polka dots, which reminded me of bubblegum. The final touch was the giant Tillie face. I loved how the initial collage element of the lizard guy looked like he was worshipping the giant head. That’s when I knew he’d be The Jawbreaker King from Planet Gumball.
