Remember those ads in the comic books, advertising all those fun and amazing toys, games, gizmos, and gadgets for just a couple of bucks? The one that intrigued me the most was for the X-Ray Glasses. I wondered how on earth did they work (and did some other boy in the neighborhood have them? Yikes!). I kind of figured they were fake, but then I wanted to know what KIND of fake were they? You know… like a circus sideshow attraction… I wanted to know what the trick was. But alas, mom wouldn’t let me send away for a pair. So, I’m still wondering…
